Rental conditions

In general cases, the hirer is also the driver of the rented car. If the hirer and the driver are not the same person, then both’s datas and presences are required in the course of letting. The following original documents presentation are required:

In case of private person from Hungary:

• Valid identity card
• Domicile card (official proof of pernament address)
• Phone number
• Rental price + caution money are required to pay in advance
• Valid EU driving licence

In case of business entities and other organizations:

• Certificate of incorporation
• Specimen signature
• Phone number
• Seal
• Rental price + caution money are required to pay in advance

From the receiving party of the vehicle:

• Valid identity card
• Domicile card (official proof of permanent address) + Phone number
• A document proving that the person is empowered to represent the company and to sign on its behalf
• Valid EU driving licence

The value gross of VAT contains:

• Designation of several driver
• Seasonable conditions (tire, coolant, etc.)
• Weight tax and all other taxes attached to vehicles
• 200 km/day (125 mile/day) driving performance

The price above NOT contains:

• Fuel cost during the time of the rent.
• The costs of mulcts because of parking in forbidden place, speeding, infringement of national highway codes (KRESZ), other penalties.
• The lessor forwards the name of the hirer for request of the authorities or the hirer is liable to refund the cost of penalty for the lessor.
• Repair costs by reason of misuse (not intended use).
• Loss of accessories: The vehicles will be consigned with all obligatory accessories according to highway code (KRESZ). The hirer is liable to preserve all accessories completely.
• In case of tire damage, the hirer is liable to repair or replace the damaged tire.
• The cost of motorway sticker.
• The price - in case of more than 200 km driving per day (125 mile/day) - changes per vehicle. You can find these prices also in the list of rental prices.
• There is no refundable price if the vehicle is returned sooner than the duration of rental time.
• One rental day is equivalent with 24 hours.
• In case of delay longer than one hour, additional 24 hours will be counted.

Other:

In every case of renting a vehicle is caution money required.
The rental price and the caution money is required to pay in advance, at the beginning of the rent.

⅔ part of the caution money will be repaid for the hirer in case of receiving the vehicle with adequate condition and properly uploaded fuel tank. Nevertheless the remaining ⅓ part stays in deposit by the lessor for one month after receiving, in order to pay the occurrent costs of mulcts because of infringement of national highway codes (KRESZ) and other penalties per deposit collateral of the hirer.
